RETIREES' CLUB

UFCW retirees and pre-retirees, if you would like to share with friends the adventure of exploring every kind of eatery — from the elegant to the economical, from the exciting to the exotic — then the UFCW Retirees’ Lunch Club is for you!

Summer is heating up and so are the happenings of your Retirees Club.

On May 16, we rode the light rail to a 3-D Under the Sea adventure at the Arizona Mills Imax Theater. Afterward, we enjoyed delicious delights at the Rain Forest Café.

On May 27, we took an extensive tour of the Crisis Nursery and and saw firsthand how we are helping the precious children who go there.

The following events are scheduled for June and July:

In mid-June we will take the light rail to midtown Phoenix for happy hour-hopping in the hub of cocktails and cuisine. Latter June will find us at the showstopping live presentation at Casino Arizona. In mid-July, we’ll meet for movies and lunch at the downtown Arizona Center. We’ll wrap up July with a trip to the Arizona Science Center.

For information regarding any of these escapades or to be put on our "to be notified of upcoming events" list, call Kelly at (602) 938-9521.

As always, spouses, relatives and friends are heartily welcome to join us. Your input is always appreciated.

Whether your idea of action is sports, plays, cultural events, Verde Valley train ride, Dolly Steamboat, Out of Africa, Laughlin or the UFCW Retirees’ Lunch Club, we have been there, done that, and are doing it again and more!

If you would like discount movie or other event discount tickets, or if you just need information pertaining to a retirement problem, join us at one of our quarterly event-planning and information meetings. Please contact Kelly at (602) 938-9521for upcoming meeting dates.
